Our first stop was Victoria's Secret. Since I have ten thousand Pink v-necks and sweatpants, I decided to invest in a new bra. They had their adorable Pink bras on sale two for $49.50. I picked out the black one normally $42.50 and the white one normally $39.50. Then I used my $10 reward. So I basically got one for free.
I love the fun colors in the pink line. The lace on the top one reminded me of a watercolor painting.
Our next stop was Bath and Body Works. I wanted to get a new shower gel/lotion/body spray set. I went in there intending to get Aruba Coconut (I love me some coconut) but was distracted by the display front and center. (I'm easily distracted when it comes to shopping) It was for the new scent called Pure Paradise. The thing I learned about coconut is either you love it or hate it. Pure Paradise just has a clean and fresh smell. So I chose it and I've got to say I really like it. It's not too perfumey or fruity or musky as most BBW scents are. Those were buy two get one free and used my 20% coupon and also used my coupon for a free trial lotion and got it in the same scent so I could carry it in my purse. I received a coupon in the bag that said the semi-annual sale is coming up, too. So that's something to look forward too, as well (it starts June 13.) I tend to buy for Christmas and put it away during the semi-annuals.
SO my last stop was Kohl's (oh how I love Kohl's!) and I have special plans for the weekend and its starting to get REALLY hot so I wanted to look at summer dresses. I headed for the clearance and found two super cute dresses. Both of them seem very reminiscent of the early sixties.
This one was so cute with the mint/copper/silver colors and it has several layers of tulle underneath that give it some body. It was originally $88.00

But it was marked down to $17.60
Then there was this one. It's kind of chambray-looking with lace trim and the cute cut-out in the back. This was marked down to $9.60 from $48.00.
I had $10 Kohl's cash so I ended up spending about $15 for both.
